The Washington Post spoke to Region 4 & 6 TCTAC Deep South Center for Environmental Justice about the resistance to carbon capture projects in Louisiana. “What they’re trying to do to Louisiana now is I think the worst of anything we’ve been exposed to, because of all the uncertainty,” Beverly Wright, executive director of DSCEJ, told the Washington Post. “In the real world, this is an experiment, and this experiment is going to be conducted on the same communities that have suffered from the oil and gas industry.” Environmental Health News, Stars and Stripes, the Western Journal, and Fox News quoted the Washington Post article.
